Let's get together and read feminist literature. Or read comic books and talk about gender roles. Or drink feminist cocktails and talk about the portrayal of women in novels. I recently moved to Madison and miss feminist and pro-feminist companionship, and I figure there are others out there in the same situation. The simplest way to do this is probably a feminist book club, so that is the rough idea, but we can branch out from there!

This is a new group for women that are interested in reading new releases and classic literature. We will begin by meeting at Barnes & Noble Cafe' at Geneva Commons. I chose a book for our first meeting at it is: "an Invisible Thread" by Laura Schroff and Alex Tresniowski. Please bring suggestions for next books to the first gathering. Discussion questions are at the end of the book.
