This group is for you if you enjoy sitting on the porch or curled up on a chair drinking a beer and enjoying a great book. We are amateur book club celebrating great reads with great locally brewed beers. Once a month we will meet at a local brew pub (within 30 minutes) of Royal Oak to discuss our chosen monthly book. This is a group for adults interested in creative writing and would like to engage with others to network, share works, obtain feedback as well as learn and grow from each other's experiences. This book club is a space for feminists to openly exchange ideas about feminism, classism, racism etc. and critique literature relating to those topics. By providing a space for people to talk and learn from each other, we hope to encourage the personal and social practice of feminism in everyday life.
