We are a new book club on LI looking for new male/female members in their 20’s and 30’s. We meet once a month on Sundays to discuss a book that we have electively chosen to read. We typically choose books that are best sellers and/or highly recommended for book clubs. The members that are a part of the group enjoy reading but also have busy lives and we understand if you are not able to make every meeting and/or finish the book in time. If the latter we always encourage you to come because most …

All the book clubs I've seen have been for moms or people over 35. I'm 24 and I wanted to meet other book-lovers around my age in the area. Encompassing a wide variety of genres and authors from children's books to classics we'll aim to read a new book every three weeks or so. We'll meet to discuss the books in a relaxed informal environment. Even though we're a 35 and younger meetup group if you're an older person wanting to read more youthful books, I would be willing to make exceptions. Pleas …
… The Law of Success About the Author Napoleon Hill (October 26, 1883 - November 8, 1970) was an American author who was one of the earliest producers of the modern genre of personal-success literature. His books have inspired millions of people and made him one of the best-selling authors of all time. Hill's works examined the quintessential principles that connected all successful people and the role that each played in personal success. He became the presidential advisor to Franklin D. Rooseve …

Good day, Hi, my name is David and I've been living in a strange world. I have been learning about this world every single day, but I need to talk to more open-minded people about the experiences they are having and perhaps we can figure out why so many strange things happen. I know there is a pattern and a reason to everything. But what is that pattern? What is that reason? These answers are elusive. I have attended several other groups on Meetup and although they have been great experiences, I …
Once upon a last week, two recent graduates decided they wanted to read something other than romance novels for a change (or not...). So we're starting this group in hopes of finding other people with a passion for reading, and a willingness to embark upon a most ambitious quest: to read as many of the "top 100 novels" as we possible can. However we don't want to limit ourselves to just those - we hope to explore, examine, and be entertained by all different types of genres. There is no li …

There are many conservative authors out there and everyone that is a part of the group enjoys reading books about politics, or at least civics. Most books will be non-fiction although some relevant fiction may be picked. All are welcome who possess a genuine and keen interest in reading about and discussing politics and who want to be a part of a local book club.
