Our study meetings are for people interested in lacanian psychoanalysis. Through readings we will discuss the concepts of Jacques Lacan's teaching, and how it approaches the questions of the post-modern world. Prior knowledge of psychoanalysis is not required. The Shy Chick's Book Club meets every other month (the odd months) in the Como Park area of St. Paul.  Our location is a cafe/coffee shop with good coffee, tea, sandwiches, and pastries. Members of this meet up vote for the next book via a poll (see More tab, then Polls). Life can get hectic, but not too hectic for the joy of reading!
