The French Book Club is all about reading and discussing a new book in French each month! We meet every second Thursday of the month at 1:00 pm at the Alliance Française of New Orleans (AFNO), 1519 Jackson Ave. This Club is FREE for Alliance Française members and $5 for non-members. We meet in Members' homes or in public spaces such as libraries, coffee houses, parks. Sitting in a circle, we discuss from the heart soulful/sacred short poems that we have selected and pondered in advance. Every other month we also gather to discuss the latest issues of the magazine THE SUN -- and, upon approval, articles of older issues.
